How to Mount Prodigy P2 part # 90885 in 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

Whats the best location to place P2 # 90885 in my new 2017 Toyota Tacoma Sport? Not much space under dash with airbags? Different than my older 2014 Tacoma!!!! Thanks Jameson! No how to mount it! Need best location to mount?

The P2 # 90885 must be mounted on a level horizontal (side-to-side) plane and must be lined up with the direction of travel for the internal sensor to function properly.

For an install harness in your 2017 Toyota Tacoma what you need is the part # 3031-P.

Most people install the controller on the lower dashboard of the vehicle to the right of the steering wheel where it wouldn't interfere with you right leg.

I pulled up some pictures of the interior of your 2017 Toyota Tacoma and the best looking place for mounting the controller I can see would be the cubby hole under the center console in front of the gear selector.
