Replacement Hardware For Thule Adventurer Roof Mounted Cargo Box

Question:
I have a 2011 Rav 4 with factory installed cross bars. I believe I have all the parts that came with the Adventurer when we bought it. What I do not have is the quick release bottom component pictured in your online kit - TH04997. Do I need that part? How can I tell what model I have? How can I find out how to install it on my 2011 Toyota RAV?

The Replacement QM3 - Quick Mount Hardware - for Adventurer Cargo Box # TH04997 is the mounting hardware for the Thule Adventurer cargo boxes. The kit installs to your factory installed roof rack by simply clamping around them once the kit is installed. I've attached a photo to assist with installing this product.
If you have all of the original hardware, then you won't need this kit, but if you are missing any portion of it, I do recommend replacing the entire kit so it will work properly to secure your cargo.
