Question:

Hello. I am writing to you because I recently got Thule cargo box as a gift. I have been looking for the replacement parts needed to keep it in top condition, as well as information on installation. However, I am unsure of the specific model I should purchase and if there are any additional parts I should consider for proper operation. In addition, the person who gave it to me told me that he broke the plate when he tried to open it, since he had difficulties to do so. For this reason, I would like to know if it is necessary to replace that part as well, and if you have the right spare part. I would greatly appreciate your guidance in this process, as I want to make sure I purchase the correct components and receive the proper installation. According to the tag you sent in a picture of I'm pretty sure you have the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box # TH613.

While it's great to know what cargo box you have, Thule unfortunately doesn't have a replacement lock kit for your box. You might be able to make the lock parts # SR03807 and # TH03808 work, but these aren't designed as replacement parts so you'll likely need to modify the box to get these to fit. The Thule Pulse Alpine is an older Thule model so they don't have very many replacement parts available anymore.

Aside from modifying your box, the only other thing you can do is purchase a new box that has more replacement parts readily available.
