Yes, the Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack # Y02458 is an excellent choice and can be used with your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit.
The RidgeBack is compatible with both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitch receivers and the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the bike rack is 9-1/2 inches. According to our fitguide we only have 2 inch hitch receivers options available for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and when we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13182 on one we found the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper to be 4-1/4 inches. Even though that measurement can vary according to the hitch manufacturer, it will usually only vary by about an inch so you have nothing to worry about.
The RidgeBack comes with a hitch lock to secure the bike rack to your hitch receiver. A bike lock can be added as well with part # Y02466 to deter theft of your bike(s).
If you have any bikes you are wanting to carry that do not have a horizontal cross tube like a traditional men's bike has, then you might also want to consider getting the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar # Y02531 to ensure that your bike stays level and has the max amount of ground clearance as possible.
