Wire Colors for Installing Brake Controller in 2017 Chevy Colorado

Question:

I purchased a Curt 51110 brake control for my 2017 Colorado. The wires from the controller are Black, White, Red and Blue. The truck wires are black, white with blue stripe, red with blue stripe and red. which wires connect to each other ? I connected black to black, white to white with blue stripe red to red with blue stripe and blue to blue and the controller does not work. please advise.... thank you

I attached a picture that has a chart which shows how to wire up a brake controller to your 2017 Chevy Colorado.

If you check out the install video you can see how this would install on a similar 2015 Colorado as yours.
