Does the break control come with any wiring or is it just the control box. Thank you

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 does come with the wiring to connect to your 2017 Chevy Colorado. There isn't a plug and play harness, but your truck has the wires for the brake controller already run under your dash. I've attached a video of this installation for you to assist.

I have the Primus IQ brake controller mounted. I have found the wiring harness in the kick panel by my left foot. I have no power to the red lead with green tracer which is supposed to be the hot lead contract to connected to the controller. What am I missing? Switch is on, battery is good, all fuses are good. Thanks for any help I can get. Regards to all

@NeilS Are you referring to the red wire that would be on harness part # 20127 ? If so, that wire on your vehicle will only go hot when the brake peddle is depressed, any other time it wont have any power running. If that's not the wire you're referring let me know.
