Do Trailer Tires/Wheels Need to Be Balanced?

Question:
Do these tire/ wheel combos come balanced: AM3S870 Loadstar ST225/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire with 15inch White Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D? If not what balancing method is best?

Our trailer tire and wheel combinations, such as the Loadstar # AM3S870 you referenced, do not come balanced like automotive tires do. When the tire is mounted to the wheel, the high (heavy) spot on the wheel is matched to the low (light) spot on the tire. This leaves the wheel and tire adequately balanced for trailers. You may have the tire/wheel professionally balanced if you wish, but having perfectly balanced tires is not as important with trailer tires as it is with passenger vehicles.
If you do decide to have them balanced, you should do so using a pin plate adapter since the wheels are lug-centric.
