I have a 1 1/2inch dia. hole where my existing light was. Will this light work with the factory hole or will the hole need to be made larger?

The LED Utility Light - 6 Diode - Sealed - 3" Round - Clear w/ Chrome Snap-On Trim Ring # UCL60CB is a surface mount, so you will not need to increase a 1-1/2 inch diameter hole. The mounting holes will be separated by 2-1/4 inch center on center.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
