This round Optronics backup light is built to handle water exposure without worry. The housing and clear lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, making it fully submersible and ideal for trailers that get backed into the water. Since the design is sealed, the bulb isn’t meant to be replaced—keeping the integrity of the waterproof construction intact and protecting the light from moisture damage.

The clear polycarbonate housing and lens stand up to wear and tear, so this light stays reliable over time on busy work trailers or utility rigs.
When it’s time to reverse, this light puts out strong, clear illumination from its incandescent bulb for better visibility behind your trailer or truck. It runs on a 12V DC system and draws 2.182 amps at 12.8V—plenty of brightness when you need it most. The round 4-1/4" diameter beam ensures solid coverage without being harsh or scattered.
Mounting this backup light is straightforward thanks to its flush-mount design. It fits easily into a recessed setup using a grommet (A45GB – sold separately) for a clean, secure look. The back accepts a standard 2-prong plug (A45CB or A49PB – sold separately), so connecting it to your existing wiring takes little effort and keeps things tidy.
This Optronics BU45CB matches several major models, including Uni Bond SE4000W, Wesbar 3545, Truck Lite 40204, Grote 62421, Peterson 415, and Bargman 40-01-003. If you’re replacing an existing round backup light of similar size, this one drops right in without modification while maintaining that dependable sealed performance.

Purchased a pair of these after one light burnt out on my 2005 coachmen camper. Both easily installed assisted by a bit of silicone sprayed on the exhisting rubber grommets. Good as new !!!

The backup light fits my 2006 motorhome perfectly and works well. In fact, it is so much brighter than my other backup light that I am thinking of ordering another one. Etrailer's service was first rate. The package came when promised and was packed very well with plenty of cushioning to protect the light.

Worked Great, Speedy Delivery, a direct replacement for my RV reverse lights.
These lights are great, they are very clear and bright! They are being used as reverse lights on my RV!! I only needed one but went ahead and purchased two to replace both, and I am glad I did!! Was very easy to replace, female plug just plugs right in with no problems!! I have enclosed a picture of front and back of lights, to show clearness and to show plug area!

I traded in the RV a few months ago but the light still looked great when I did.
