Rear Helper Springs to Reduce Squat on the Back of a 1999 Ford F-250 Towing 12K Dump Trailer

Question:
I have a 1999 Ford F250 GVWR 8,800 4x2, 3.7 rear axle, with 8foot bed. The towing capacity is 8,200lbs. I pull a dump trailer that has a GVWR of 12,000lbs Registered at 9,999. 3-4 times a week. The truck is often loaded close or at capacity. With just the dump trailer attached, empty ~3,700lbs, the truck is level. When the trailer is loaded to trucks capacity, it is squatting pretty good. I want to eliminate this sag, as much as possible, for the least cost, as the truck is worth less than $3,000. My mechanic recommended an option that cost around $1,000, but I do not want to invest this much into the truck. Would you guys recommend this product or something different? Also, should I get the severe duty or this model? I didnt understand if the 6,000lb. limit was per SES or combined... Thanks in advance for your assistance!

For your 1999 Ford F-250 4x2 the Timbren springs # TFR150SDE are a great option. The 6,000 pound rating is for the whole system and that is the vertical load limit. So even if the trailer was loaded to 12,000 pounds gross weight it still would not even come close to producing 6,000 pounds of vertical load so no worries!
It will definitely help with the squat and improve ride quality while towing. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
