Question:
Hello, My Power Tongue jack on my travel trailer spins but doesnt raise or lower. Power is fine. Seems like this might be a gear issue and I may need to replace the tongue jack? Thanks,

If your trailer's powered tongue jack's motor is operating but the jack does not raise or lower, then it is likely that the gearbox or main screw is damaged. There may be a repair kit available for your brand and model of jack; you can let me know the brand and part number and include a photo to let us check, if you like.
You can also simply bolt on a new electric a-frame jack. You can see all of our electric a-frame trailer jacks on the linked page.
It is best to choose a jack that has more capacity than you actually need. Doing this means your jack will not be operated near its maximum and this tends to increase the lifespan of such products, and also items like winches. Safety margin/extra capacity are good things in any such application.
A very good jack is the etrailer # EJ-3520-WBX tongue jack. Electric A-frame jack has 2 toggle switches for operation. Jack has a retracted height of 9", an extended height of 28-1/2", and 19-1/2" of travel. Drop leg offers an extra 5-5/8" of lift. Includes a manual override handle. Drop leg allows for increased lift and saves time when raising or lowering
