When you're hauling serious weight, the last thing you want is uneven suspension travel. This kit uses 14-1/4" long straight equalizers (13-139-3) that balance movement between both axles on tandem setups. The solid design keeps the load distributed so your trailer tracks straight and smooth, even when fully loaded on 10,000-lb general-duty Dexter axles.
Weak or worn hangers can cause sloppy handling and uneven tire wear. This kit solves that with two 4-1/2" tall center hangers (29-42-2) drilled with 1" bolt holes for a snug, heavy-duty connection. The setup gives each equalizer a solid pivot point, keeping suspension geometry correct and your frame supported under load.
Loose suspension hardware can turn into big trouble on the road. This kit includes 4-1/2" long x 3/4" diameter spring-eye bolts (7-264) and 5-1/4" long x 1" diameter equalizer bolts (7-169) with matching locknuts (6-113 and 6-112). The proper fit and sizing mean you get a tight, lasting connection that doesn’t work loose over time.
To get a full tandem-axle system, this kit pairs with HAP-158-00, which provides the front and rear hangers and mounting hardware. Together, they create a complete suspension package that’s ready for 38" axle spacing and built to handle long miles of towing with confidence.

Hello, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter tandem axle trailer equalizer kit for 2-1/2 inch wide slipper springs. Now, these are gonna be designed for use on trailers with tandem axles rated at 10,000 pound capacity general duty Dexter axles. Now, this kit will attach to four leaf springs, which are sold separately, to your trailer's frame. Now again, this kit is not gonna include the components needed for mounting the axle to the springs. You can use these in conjunction with our part number HAP-158-00.
Again, that's HAP-158-000 to complete the kit. Now, let's take a closer look here. Now, the equalizers themselves are gonna measure 14-1/4 inches long. And you're gonna have two hangers. They measure 4-1/2 inches tall, and that's gonna be from the bottom of that bolt hole to the top of it, 4-1/2 inches tall.
Now, this kit's gonna allow for 38 inches between your axles. It does come with one inch diameter center holes for mounting. And over here, it's got 3/4 inch holes for attaching to the hangar itself. This kit also includes two 4-1/2 half inch long by 3/4 inches thick spring eye bolts, and it also includes two 5-1/4 inch long by one inch diameter equalizer bolts. And all four of them are gonna come with the nuts as well.

Great price for the money. I had to cut these but for the price that’s was I was planning for. I had an odd 11.5 length so overes bigger and cut to size.
Just as needed
Didn’t not work with my cam super line trailer. Bolts were not the right diameter for the front of the spring, the wet bolt isn’t stated to have a locking square sink on it so it doesn’t sit flush. Rear small bolt worked just fine, ubolt plates didn’t fit the bottom of my springs even tho they were stated to be for my size spring of 2”. I would triple check everything on your trailer before ordering. Will be returning my second set I bought to do my other trailer as well and be souring parts elsewhere.
