Question on product: Thule Vertex 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting Item # TH9028XT Car: Lexus RX350 2013 Would the bikes, when mounted on the bike rack above, be blocking the back sensors and/or camera?

The Thule Apex XT 2 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # TH9024XT is a nice bike rack that has the integrated cable lock, HideAway cradles with grooves for your cables and ratcheting anti-sway to protect your bikes and your vehicle. The mast is really well designed with the folding and tilt features with quick-release levers. This mast will obstruct a portion of your view as will the bikes when installed on your 2013 Lexus RX 350. The backup sensors will not be an issue without bikes, but may alarm with bikes installed. This will only be an issue for the short time you are backing up. This will be an issue for all bike racks.
If you have any step through frames, I also recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005. This allows you to transport your bikes level while giving you adequate ground clearance.
