Question:
I have a 2005 Ranger 185DVS and ranger trail single axle trailer. It has disc brake and I need a complete hub assembly. Ranger gave me a part # of 9606003R1. Do you have this part available. I have oil hubs now, I think this part #is for grease hubs, which is fine. Thanks!

To determine what replacement hub assembly that you need there is some information that you will need to get off of your trailer.
Since we do not have the part 9606003R1 that you referenced you will need to remove your current hub assembly and find the part numbers for the inner and outer bearings and the grease (or oil) seal. If your parts do not have the numbers on them then you can measure your spindle to find out what the inner and outer diameter is plus the diameter of where the grease (or oil) seal sits. These locations can be found as B, C, and D on the attached picture. Keep in mind that you will need to use a Digital Caliper # PTW80157 and record the measurements to the 3rd decimal (0.075 for example) place.
Once these numbers or measurements are known we can find hubs that use the same measurements so that we know it will fit.
It is always helpful to note the bolt pattern that you will need for your current wheels unless you are wanting to replace those as well. I have attached an article on how to determine what the bolt pattern is.
