There are only 2 ways to install a jack on a trailer; by bolting it on or by welding it on. A simple bolt-on installation could very well be removed at home but you will need to make sure that whatever jack you decide to replace it with is installed correctly for safety. If it is welded on you will need to find a qualified welder to remove the jacks.
If you have scissor style stabilizer jacks like the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks with Handle # LC285344, then we do offer a stabilizer jack option that looks a little better. It also makes leveling your RV a breeze!
Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer for Trailers and RVs # UF39-941707 has a 6,000 lbs capacity and can be mounted at the front and/or rear of your trailer as long as it does not have a motor like a motorhome. This is a great alternative that really helps you to get setup faster at your campsite so you can have more free time.
