To add a 4-Pole connector to your 2016 Volvo V60 I recommend going with the Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56287.

This kit will simply T into the tail lights on your V60. You will also need to run the included Black wire up to your battery for power. This will keep the lights on your trailer from affecting the lights on your V60.

I was able to look up and see that the trailer hitch receiver that you purchased from us was the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75916 with a 2 inch receiver. Since you will also need a ball mount and hitch ball for any trailer towing I recommend going with our Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit comes with 2 ball mounts, a pin and clip, and 2 hitch balls. One of the ball mounts has a 3/4 inch Rise and a 2 inch Drop, and the other with a 2-3/4 inch Rise and a 4 inch Drop. One of the hitch balls has a 1-7/8 inch diameter and the other has a 2 inch diameter.

You will want to do some measuring first though to make sure that these ball mounts will give you the correct Rise or Drop that you need for your application. I have attached a helpful article that demonstrates how to determine what rise or Drop that you will need.
