Question:
I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota with factory installed trailer towing package, where does the white plug for trailer controller adapter plug into, i mean where is the female socket located in truck cab? Is it behind the emergency brake on firewall or in fuse box?

The female socket that the Tekonsha Brake Controller Adapter, item # 3020-P, will plug into, is located under the dash on the left side just above the emergency brake pedal, see photos at right. Normally this connector is blue and it is located in this area on all Dodge Dakota vehicles but is sometimes harder to see than others.
