Which product is better, Hollywood Platform # HR200 or Swagman XTC-2 Platform # S64670?

Both the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670, and the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider, # HR200Z, are hitch-mounted, platform-style bike racks which are able to transport a pair of bikes. Each can fit 1-1/4- and 2-inch hitches with straps that hold the wheels in place and hooks that latch onto the bike's frame.

There are a number of key differences that lead me to recommend the Hollywood Trail Rider. It is capable of carrying bikes with a maximum tire width of three inches, compared to the 2.5-inch width the Swagman can haul. The Hollywood also has a weight capacity of 45 lbs per bike, which is 10 lbs more than its competitor, and comes with a tilting mast for easier access to your vehicle's rear cargo area, a feature the Swagman does not have.
