Question:
Hello, I have a question about 2 suspension products: TTORSEQ and F4135. I am hoping you can provide some guidance on which product would be better for my application. I have a 2003 Lexus GX470 that has been converted from the stock air suspension to foil springs in the rear. The rear coil springs being used are the same as a 2003 4runner. I occasionally tow a 5x10 trailer with landscape materials, motorcycle or ATVs. Would the firestone air bags or the timbres suspension enhancement be better suited to limit bounciness and body roll? I tow a max of 3,000 pounds in the trailer and only occasionally fully load the cargo area of my vehicle. Thank you

I recommend installing the Timbren system # TTORSEQ over the Firestone # F4135.
Since you said you occasionally tow or carry a maximum of 3,000-lbs, the Timbren system would be a nice option because you do not have to make any adjustments to the system. As more weight is added to the vehicle either from tongue weight when towing or loading the back of the vehicle, the Timbrens will stiffen to provide more support for the load.
Using the Firestone system means you will need to adjust the air pressure on the system based on the load you are carrying. Also, the Firestone system has a load leveling capacity of 1,000-lbs.
