Question:
What is the recommended torque specification when installing the nuts on the mounting bolts to the axle for 10 inch brake assemblies on a 3500 pound axle? In general 7/16-20 plated nut would be about 45 ft. pounds, is that correct? Thanks,

I called my contact at Dexter about the 10 inch Nev-R-Adjust brakes like part # 23-468.
They told me when you are installing the brake assemblies to the brake mounting flange, the torque should be between 45 and 50 ft lbs.
