Question:

While running wiring wiring I learned that both my motorhome 2016 Itasca Navion Mercedes Sprinter and the vehicle i intend tow tow 2016 Honda Hrv each have a split system where the running light and brake are together, but the turn signal is separate. Given this circumstance, should I have something else to complete this install?

If you have the proper wiring installed on your 2016 Mercedes Sprinter the Roadmaster Diode kit part # RM-15247 would work great. This kit has been tested as a solution for your 2016 Honda HR-V so it will work great.

For wiring on the Sprinter you need to start with the part # 119250KIT to give you a 4-way and then to convert it to a 7-way you would need the part # 37185.

The circuit you would need to use on the HR-V for the wiring is the one that has the running light and turn signals.
