Best RV Trailer Tires for Size ST225/75R15
Published 03/09/2017 >
Question:
Folks, Thanks in advance for your assistance. I just purchased a new Winnebago 25RKS 5th Wheel with ST225 75R 15D tires on it. The trailer dry weight is 7900# and will be towed by a 2016 Silverado 2500HD. We plan long trips rather than short camper type runs. I am very meticulous when it comes to mechanical issues, preventative maintenance etc. and want only the best.........no problems on the road. I want to replace the original tires immediately to move to a higher load rating and reliability. Could you please tell me your best recommendation on brand, load rating/load range and most of all reliability. Our unit will be stored indoors and will be hitch leveled/load balanced perfectly to insure both axles are carrying equal loads. I sure would appreciate your best recommendation to give me peace of mind. By the way, this is our first year as RV users

We have just what you need. The very best trailer tire option we have is from Lionshead and is part # LHWL304. This is a higher Load Range than yours as you have a Load Range D currently and this is a Load Range of E with capacities of 2,830-lb max load at 80 psi.
This tire also has a higher than normal speed rating of 71 mph whereas other trailer tires are usually limited to only 65 mph. That being said here's the real icing on the cake for this tire...
This tire comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
