Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST225/75R15 Load Range E Radial Trailer Tire mounted on this 15-inch Black Mod Wheel. Now, if you're looking for a trailer tire and wheel package that's ready to install right out of the box, this combo is really going to be a solid option for you to consider. This tire, as I mentioned, is an ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire, and this tire is meant for trailer use only, not for other vehicles. And this is already mounted on this 15-inch black mod wheel, so there's no need to have the tire mounted separately before installation, which is great.
And this tire is a load range E, which means that it's built for heavier trailers and it can support up to 2,860 pounds at 80 PSI. And this is a 10-ply rated tire designed to handle demanding hauling applications, whether you're towing equipment, campers, utility trailers, or other heavier loads. Now, one of the standout features of this tire is the KR53 tread here that we see here. Because it's a radial design, it runs cooler than many bias-ply alternatives. The wheel itself, looking at the diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat is 15 inches. The width of the wheel is six inches. This does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 4.25 inches. This uses half inch by 20 wheel studs. The wheel is also rated for 2,860 pounds, matching the tire's capacity.
And visually this wheel gives you a little more style than a standard steel wheel. Just received tires via ups. FAST shipping and what I ordered. UPS did not knock so not exactly sure when delivered. Steel wheels look great, no issues with powerboat. Tire have a manufacturing date “ 2725 “, meaning over 1 year old, but look good. Took down and had balanced via lug holes and will mount on trailer in am while checking electric brakes, bearings and regressing hubs.
Over all, happy with this order, as it increased from 8 ply 10 year old china bombs to a 10 ply.Let us see how they run down the road! Hopefully better mileage pulling toy!

Looks like a nice set of wheels and tires. Mounted ob trailer with ease. I didnt have time to get tires mounted on the old wheels before leaving for a trade show, so this was perfect. Wife posted the other wheels with slight dry rot on facebook and sold the next day. We will be testing out the new set in two days, as we have a three hr drive to our next trapping show.
I just received my 175 80r 13 trailer tires and silver mod wheels from etrailer today and put them on my trailer. They are a perfect fit and look great. Arrived exactly as described.Had ordered twice from another vendor and they messed up the order both times. eTrailer got it right the first time.
These were a great upgrade for my utility trailer that sees mostly country road miles, and a bit of gravel roads. The tires have enough tread pattern voids to track well on bad roads (and look good too). These radials are less bouncy than the bias tires they replaced. Silver wheels are a fun color change from my prior black wheels.
It was great to have everything mounted and inflated - this was cheaper than buying equivalent tires from a local tire shop and having them mounted onto my old wheels.
Lastly, eTrailer shipped very quickly, and packed everything in thick cardboard boxes instead of just slapping labels on the tires. You can't beat that level of service!
