Question:
I have purchased the hinge for my boat trailer but I have hydraulic brake line that I need to splice a flex hose in. Do you have a kit for this? It doesn't branch off until it gets to the axle which is 18' I was hoping I could splice it at 4'but can you let me know cost both ways?

We carry many different sizes hydraulic brake hoses that can work in replacing your steel brake line on your trailer's surge coupler.
I think the Kodiak 6 foot hose with 3/16 of an inch male flare fittings, # BH-3MFS-6, will be the best solution. This hose could attached to the master cylinder, if the fitting is 3/16, and then run the hose along trailer tongue until you can connect the other end to your brake line.
You will have to cut the steel line and install a inverted flare nut to connect the hose to the brake line. You will also need a flaring tool. If you do not have this tool, then check with an auto parts store. Many auto parts store will allow you to rent this tool at a reasonable price. The will also have the flare nut that you will need to install on your steel line.
