Question:
Would like to connect P3 controller to my 2016 which has the 2015 Ford E 450 M/H chassis. Crazy answers from rewire all front to back, to connecter behind ash tray, parking brake, behind motor cover, a panel on right, to what appears to be a P/U console. Using the right harness would be better than trying to hard wire it on a DIY project. Your company suggests a 3040P in one place and a 4034P in several others. RV dealers dont really want to ty unless they can get a days labor and do not seem to want job think the Ford is too complicated. Had no problem getting a P2 installed on my GM 2500 HD. Appreciate any help yo may give, I have explored your web site and without tearing my dash out I do not find a connector. We do have lots of color coded unused wires, I cant guess more than likely accessaries Ford forgot. This is a vey basic chassis for what was supposed to be a top of the line Forrest River unit. Thanks for your Help

For your 2016 Forrest River built on 2015 Ford E-series Chassis, the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 will be a great brake controller for you. It may be able to install using the # 3034-P in the box to the left of your brake pedal over by the emergency brake. I've attached a video of the older model for you to check out.
If that connection is not present and you don't want to test a bunch of wires under your dash for possible function using a circuit tester like # PTW2993, then I recommend installing the Universal Brake Controller Wiring Kit # ETBC7 if you need a 7-way connector, or the # 5506 if you already have the connector. This will allow you to add a brake controller without a headache and know it is functional with your brake controller.
