I have a 2017 Kia Sportage, Im in need of a trailer hitch and a platform style bike rack, can you please give me your best option

For a hitch the best option is a 2 inch hitch like the part # e72TR which is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Kia Sportage. I attached an install video for this as well.

I would recommend the Saris Freedom Superclamp part # SA4025F. It's a platform style bike rack that will fit your 2 inch hitch, it's super lightweight for a platform rack at 35 lbs, and it will only contact your bikes by grabbing them at the tires.
