Definitely a 2 man job, but it's holding up great! I recall the bolts being a little tricky to line up, but they all worked out once they got started.

Being a mechanical engineer, one can tell when something is of high quality and excellent design. I purchased this hitch for a 2020 Kia Sportage 'S' the installation instructions were spot on (I actually got a great tip from etrailer on how to remove the rubber mount on the muffler) The welds were excellent as well as the finish and the price was great. The last hitch we bought was warped from the heat of the welds and took some strong arming to mount it to the frame. This hitch slid right up into the frame with no scraping scratching the paint of the frame. The indented use for this is a Allen 4 bike carrier. BTW, the picture shows the hitch tilted up - it is NOT, that's the angle of the camera

I installed the Curt hitch on my KIA Sportage in about 30 minutes, solo, thanks to etrailer’s clear video and instructions. I could have done it little easier with a helper to hold the hitch up for me while I started the bolts – but not a hard job solo ( I’m 61). Thanks again; you’ve earned my business.
Disappointed that only 5 of the 8 bolt holes on the receiver, 3 on driver side, 2 on passenger side, lined up with the welded nuts in the frame. As the receiver will be holding a bike rack and not doing any towing I am not too concerned. For what I paid I expected a better fit.

Great purchase;. Avoids having to store bike inside my KIA Sportage. Bike rack attached perfectly to 1 1/4 receiver. A friend who is a mechanic only charged $40 to install in less than an hour.

Hitch is exactly what I had hoped it would be. Sturdy, easy to fit various bike racks and cargo carrier.
The Hitch itself is of good quality steel. Very sturdy. Looks like good welds. The installation was easier enough. I have a 2022 Kia Sportage and followed youtube instructions as well as etrailer video instructions. I did do this by myself so it took a little effort to hold the hitch in place but was able to get my bolts started. I did have one issue though. 3 of the pre-drilled holes aligned just right, but the 4th is about a 1/4" to low. My mounting hole on my vehicle frame is just a tab bit to high. I couldn't get that 4th bolt in. I found a work around so it's on there very solidly. It's a very low profile hitch. You can only see the receiver part of it sticking out from under the vehicle. Looks very nice.
This is the 3rd hitch I've installed from etrailer and again I'm very happy with the ease of installation and the information available. I viewed the video the day I ordered it and while the installation lying on your back on a lumpy driveway isn't that easy we had no problems to mention. We have another vehicle to install a hitch on and I'll be ordering from here again.
My husband was able to install this on our vehicle in an hour after watching a video on how to do it. Saved $ from having to have someone install it for us. Haven't used it to pull yet, but we'll find out in a few days!
I ordered a C12158 trailer hitch for my 2017 Kia Sportage. It came in a couple of days and fit perfectly. Very pleased.
Everything was right on only glitch was a mounting hole on the left side, side mount rear hole was a 32nd of an inch to low and had to be drilled out. Wire harness was right on but directions to generic, should be more specific to the vehicle harness was ordered for.
Was surprised on how quickly the order was delivered. The hitch and wiring component have been installed and work great. Extremely satisfied with the service.
The hitch was shipped right away and arrived a day earlier than expected. I am very happy with the quality of the hitch, the welds and the fit. I would not hesitate to buy another Curt product.

Drew was so helpful and gave great advice for the tow hitch we are using on the Kia Sportage.
The trailer hitch installs easily, and seems to be well made, although time will tell if the finish holds up.

They should make the mounting holes a little wider for some wiggle room when mounting it.
A great website to help the customer decide what is required, and the videos were extremely helpful. Watched it once and was able to complete the installation with no problems.
Great customer service and easy to order. Delivery faster than expected but when it was delivered was broken open on one corner of box which was done in transit. I opened up box and it appears all is good with the exception black paint scuffed off. I would order again for sure !
