When setting up a new trailer suspension it is best to do a mock-up (by clamping or tack welding the parts in place) to allow you to see how the system functions. There are so many variables that is best to test. Typical spacing dimensions for 25-1/8-inch springs are shown in the chart on the page for # APT5.

Since the springs you intend to use, 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e27SR, are 7/8-inch longer than those listed in the chart, you will want to increase the hanger spacing approximately 7/16-inch. This means that the spacing would be right under 30-inches.
