A reliable suspension starts with hangers that stay put. This kit uses weld-on hangers—(4) 2-1/2" tall front and rear and (2) 5-7/16" tall center hangers—to mount your double-eye leaf springs securely to the frame. The center hangers include 3/4" bolt holes for solid connection to the equalizers. It’s built to handle tandem setups running 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb axles, giving your trailer a strong, straightforward foundation for smooth tracking on the road.
Uneven load transfer causes bounce and sway. The included 7-3/4" long curved equalizers even out movement between the axles so both sets of springs share the work. With a 3/4" diameter center hole and 9/16" diameter end holes, the equalizers line up precisely with the wet bolts and shackles in this kit to keep motion controlled and consistent.
Creaks and wear show up fast when parts run dry. This kit uses 3-1/2" long × 3/4" diameter wet equalizer bolts fitted with 1/8" MPT grease zerks so you can keep the suspension lubricated through regular maintenance. The design keeps wear surfaces protected and extends the life of the pivot points for quieter, smoother travel mile after mile.
Everything needed to hang four leaf springs (sold separately) is here—(8) 2-5/8" long shackle straps, (12) 3" long × 9/16" diameter shackle bolts, (12) 9/16" diameter locknuts, (2) 3/4" diameter castle nuts, and (2) 2-1/4" cotter pins. It’s a matched set that takes the guesswork out of building or restoring a tandem suspension so you can get a precise fit and dependable ride.

Product was just as advertised. Nice to just order a kit and not have to worry about forgetting something. My only complaint was the packaging as everything was just loose in a cardboard box. Surprisingly nothing fell out in transit considering all the nuts, zerks and cotter pins were rolling around and there was a hole in the side of the box.
Product was as advertised. I did have to modify the center one as I was unaware there are high/low equalizers. I ended up drilling a new hole and it worked fine. 10/10.

Kit purchased to repalce damaged components on an existing 70's era trailer. The complete hanger kit was cheaper than purchasing the individual parts I needed. The hangers were not used but the equalizers, shackels, and bolts were direct replacements to restore my trailer to tip top shape. I added some nylon spring eye bushings to complete the job!

Rebuilding a 1995 Escort tandem axle boat trailer for a 24` Trophy. If anyone is rebuilding one, you know aftermarket parts are impossible to find as they are bolt on hangers. Had to slot out one of the holes on each bracket (didn't use equalizer bracket) to make it work and coated with galvanized spray paint. Did the trick but haven't reassembled suspension yet as parts are being sourced from 5 different companies.

This hanger kit and leaf springs for my tandem boat trailer was PERFECT! I did one side at a time. Once we got the old crap off the trailer, reassembly was a snap. It took about three hours from start to finish. Most of the time was spend removing the frozen center bolt from the old equalizers. I'm very happy I opted for the two center bolts to be "wet bolts". I was rebuilding the suspension on one of my trailers and needed tbis hardware. It was shipped fast and with a little measuring and welding it was installed with ease.

etrailer packaging was great which contained the leaf springs. RedNeck Trailer packaging was good, but not as good as etrailer.

this is a nice heavy duty product. I plan on adding an axle to my trailer. The existing axle is too far forward and I forced to load heave in the front to prevent sway. when the trailer is empty or evenly loaded I have to be on my P's & Q's to minimize the sway. I can just move the axle back but the extra capacity will be nice.
Perfect application to give my trailer a cpl more inches of lift. Prior to installing the longer hangers, the frame would rest on the axles of my trailer. Now with these longer replacement hangers, that no longer happens. Very satisfied customer.
