Question:
I want to purchase the safety chain set for my Anderson Ranch Hitch adapter but have no U bolts in the bed. How do install these and what grade ubolt do I need? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Which U bolts you will need, depends on the manufacturer of your gooseneck hitch.
If you have Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch, you will need Safety-Chain U-Bolt Kit for Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch, part # C113.
If you have a Reese or Draw-Tite Remov-A-Ball Goosneck Hitch, you will need Replacement U-Bolt Safety Chain Kit for Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Hitch, part # 6308.
You could also install part # 6308 in your truck bed to use with other brand gooseneck hitches. You would need to drill a total of 4 holes, of 5/8 inches and have an under vehicle support plate (see instructions link).
If you have an above-bed gooseneck hitch attached to fifth-wheel rails, we have the Reese Safety-Chain Attachments, part # RP50223.
