How Does 7-Way Harness Unplug from 7-Way Connector

How does the plug come apart so I can check connection of ground?

If you check out the video I attached you can see how 7-way harnesses like the one you referenced disconnect at the rear of them. Right at the 46 second mark you will see the pin that has to get removed.

I am trying to hook up trailer lights on a 2015 Chev pickup but it wont work. It seems like it is turned upside down. This trailer seems to work on older trucks. I plug it in and nothing works but it all works on older trucks.

Certain Chevy truck models starting in 2014 do have the factory 7-Way mounted upside down, which is fun. If you turned the trailer side 7-Way over when connecting and nothing works at all, then there may be a blown fuse under the hood. Check your owner's manual for the towing related fuse locations and make sure they are present and in good condition. Let me know what you find and we can go from there.
