Where Does Curt 7-Way Trailer Connector C56071 Plug Into on a 1998 Dodge Ram

I am looking to replace the factory trailer wiring in my 1998 Ram. Can I use this item to do that? If I can, where does it plug into on the vehicle wiring harness?

If your 1998 Dodge Ram came with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, then you can use Curt harness # C56071. You would follow the factory connector's wiring harness forward under the vehicle to where it plugs in. The connector should be rectangular like those on the Curt harness. If they are a different shape, then you would need to use # 20024 which requires hardwiring into the vehicle wiring.
You would need a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one to determine the functions of the vehicle tow package wiring. I have linked a video review of 20024 for you.
