Can Head of Reese 15k Slider Hitch be Replaced with 16k Head

Question:
I have a 15K reese slider hitch and need to go to a 16K hitch. Will a 16K reese hitch head be installed on my current slider and which reese 16K hitch head is recomended? Thanks.

When Reese up-rated their hitches from 15k to 16k they didn't change the design enough to prevent you from installing a 16k head on the slider.
The part # RP30047A would install on your slider and work well for you.
