How far below the factory hitch does the DT45518 hang down?

My contact at Draw-Tite confirmed that when their Class V hitch # DT45518 is installed in the 2016 Ram 3500 with factory hitch the TOP of the hitch receiver tube will be 8-3/4-inches below the BOTTOM of the truck's frame rails. This hitch comes complete with installation hardware; no welding is required for installation but some drilling is needed.
