What Prevents CE Smith Guide Ons from Floating Away

Question:
What keeps these pvc pipes from floating off while you go get your boat if you dont have help is there a bolt,or a hole drilled in the top if they are under water and the water couldnt get out I think it would float off unless it is pretty tight like drive it down with a hammer then it might bust .....just wondering.

The PVC pipes of the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27660 are a friction fit to the L-brackets. They are just tight enough that you wouldn't have to worry about them floating off or flying off down the highway.
If water got in them it would drain out of the bottom of the bracket.
