Can Furrion Vision S+ Be Used As Rear View Mirror

Question:
Can this camera system be used as a “rear view mirror” while driving?

Hey John! The Furrion Vision S+ # FR57AD does act as sort of a rear view mirror when you're towing or if you have an in bed camper, but it is not designed to replace the mirror on your vehicle.
The camera stays on while you’re driving so you can monitor what’s behind your RV or trailer. The 7" monitor shows a live video feed from the rear camera, which helps reduce blind spots and lets you see traffic behind you when changing lanes or traveling down the highway.
What are you towing with your Silverado?

Absolutely. I use mine for rear view while trailering always. It helps me know when it’s safe to change lanes and turn.

I installed the rear camera on 35 foot toy hauler, the best thing I’ve installed so far. You can watch approaching traffic from rear and extended side mirrors on truck works great. I have to run with lights on to power camera. Thought about installing the side cameras, but haven’t seen the need at this time.
