Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the 35-foot-long ramp gate seal kit for the enclosed trailer ramps. Now this will help protect the inside of your enclosed trailer with this nice hollow bulb seal ramp gate kit. Prevents water and debris from entering your enclosed trailer. And this kit will provide the perimeter seal, the corner blocks that are found on many toy haulers and car trailers.
And this is constructed of EPDM sponge rubber, so it will not shrink, crack, or fade over time. And it is resistant to UV and ozone exposure. I wanted to zoom in just to show you what the cutaway version of this bulb seal looks like. You can see it's hollow. Does have the ribs at the top right here.
Dimensions on this is 7/8 of an inch wide, height is one inch tall. You can see it is a peel-and-stick installation. Has a nice pre-applied 3M adhesive backing on it. Basically, you just simply peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal to your door. Now, this kit will include everything laid out here on the table.
It includes this 35-foot-long ribbed hollow bulb seal with the adhesive strip, and includes this ramp gate corner seal, a plastic scraper tool, the Loctite super bonder 495, and a nice detailed instruction sheet that'll describe how to install this. Just a note is this ramp gate corner seal will come as a single piece, but it can be trimmed to fit the corners. The instructions will show you how to do that. Also comes with the super bonder 495. It provides the glue to glue the corners after you miter this corner seal.
And then the scraper tool is used to help the removal of your original seal. These parts are made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the 35-foot-long ramp gate seal kit for the enclosed trailer ramps..

Was thinking this project would take several hours but with the help of my son we had it all done in less than an hour. Good seal kit and easy to install. Hard to see in the one photo of my old seal but it was pretty well flattened and I'm sure not doing the job of keeping water out.
Yes it's expensive! But the seal kit is the best on the market that we found!!! We converted our construction tool trailer into a camper now that we have retired and after 17 years on the job the ramp door seal needed to be replaced. This product kit had everything and the product the new seal material was better than the one installed new on this cargo trailer and we bought one of the higher-end trailers to start with. With a lot of life left in this well built trailer we decided to do this conversion and this seal kit completed the job and we are now ready for the adventures ahead.
The seal kits has everything you need to install the seal on a Toy Hauler ramp door. The issue I encountered was that the instructions for cutting the 45 degree corner cut is impossible to create a good sealing corner. After a few tries following the instructions, I made a 45 degree miter joint jig out of wood to hold the bulb seal while cutting the 45 degree with a meat carving knife. I then glued the bulb seal 45 degree corners together using the Loctite super bonder 495 that comes with the kit to form a 90 degree corner.

Seal was a great fit and we had a driving rain yesterday and not one drop of water got through. I am very pleased with the quality of the seal and the fast delivery. Very good value for the price.

After a year still a perfect fit and no leaks.
It was pretty easy to install. The custom trim-to-fit has worked really well.
This kit is perfect for a toyhauler ram p.
quality product. Seems expensive for what it is, but should last.
