I watched your video and noticed that you took off the spare tire. After install does tire fit back into some spot with ease?

Yes, once you complete the install of the Draw Tite hitch part # 36501 on your 2009 Ford Escape you will be able to reinstall the spare tire.
I attached a picture that shows the spare reinstalled for you to check out as well.
