Question:

Hi There, I have a 83 HiLo tandem axle camper trailer which appears to have an unusual 27.5 hangar spacing. 2 3500 lb axles. The current equalizer is 2high and 5.5 on center. The current leaf springs measure 24inch from eye to eye. Im looking at the AP233 kit which is 1/4inch longer, but would also like to find leaf springs that will match and fit my 27.5inch hangar spacing. Can the AP233 combined with the e59SR be a suitable replacement setup?

For 3500 pound axles with 24 inch springs the # e59SR is what you need. Springs stretch as they wear out so it's very normal for your measurement to be longer than the new springs.

Also, the Tandem Axle Equalizer Kit # AP233 is also great for you. The 1/4 inch extra length isn't going to be a factor and we don't carry 5-1/2 inch equalizers that are 2 inches tall.
