Do Trailer Leaf Spring Bushings Need to be Removed and Reinstalled in New Springs

Question:

I ordered this Dexter EZ Flex kit from etrailer in late 2021 and had installed in 3/2022. It is working great the trailer tows much more smoothly with no more push-pull on my truck when the trailer hits potholes or bumps. Recently I noticed that the leaf springs on the trailer a 2018 Winnebago 2401rg are flattening out, so I am getting the leaf springs replaced. I have a question in regards to the bushings in the kit can they be readily removed from the old leaf springs and re-used in the new springs? Or are new bushings and potentially wet bolts needed? Thank you

Most leaf replacement trailer leaf springs are going to come with new bushings so I wouldn't anticipate you having to remove your old ones to install them in new springs. That said the bushings are removable if needed.

Since we know your 2018 Winnebago Minnie 2401RG has 3,500 lb axles for a replacement we have the part # e54SR which is 25-1/8 inches long. You'd need to measure your current springs to verify that this would work as we don't have a way to look up your current spring length but 25-1/8 inch is a very common length.
