Solution for Reducing Harshness In Ride Quality of Timbren Kit TFTTT350F

Question:

In the booklet that comes with the Timbren TFRTT350F it says to have the bump stop set a 1 1/2 inch to a 1 inch above the peg. After I installed the bump stops and lowered the bed the bump stops were resting on the pegs. Which makes for a really rough ride. Any ideas?

Expert Reply:

Remove the spacer between the jounce spring and the mounting bracket. That will give you more clearance so that the suspension can move a few inches before activating the Timbren.
