Will a Curt Weight Distribution Shank Work with an EAZ Lift Weight Distribution System
Updated 08/26/2016 | Published 08/25/2016 >
Question:
The holes on this draw bar match with the eaz lift head I currently have. Is this the best replacement draw bar for a 2 1/2inch receiver for an eaz lift head rated at 12,000lb/1200 TW?

Expert Reply:
If the 3/4 inch diameter holes space 1-1/4 inches apart on center on shank # C17131 match what your EAZ Lift weight distribution system requires then it is a great option for a 2-1/2 inch hitch. Most major brands of weight distribution systems use the same hole spacing and diameter to mount the heads with few exceptions.
This shank has a maximum rise of 6 inches and maximum drop of 2 inches. If you need more rise or drop to tow the trailer level you can look at the selection of 2-1/2 inch shanks I have linked for you.
