Question:

I currently have a BandW turn over ball installed in my truck and a Curt X5 adapter. i would like to purchase a BandW Patriot RVK3270 slider hitch and i was wondering if it would be compatible? Thank You.

I do have a solution for you but first, the B&W Patriot slider # BWRVK3270 fits in industry standard above the bed rails which is on the Curt X5 adapter # 16310. But the adapter is higher at the center than the tops of the rails. This means it would interfere with the Patriot slider and it will not fit the adapter.

Another option that does not require the use of the adapter but that does cost more is the B&W Companion slider # BWRVK3400-5W. It is a direct fit to the gooseneck hitch. I have linked a video review of this hitch if you wanted to explore this option.
