Question:
I have a triple axle fifth wheel trailer Heartland Cyclone and need to replace the leaf springs and hardware. I was looking at the Trailer Suspension e94SR and the Dexter K71-360-00 kit. Will these products work together? The leaf spring on my trailer now is a 4 leaf system and the new one is a 6 leaf system. Will the 6 leaf spring help reduce the sagging I have now? Also will the 6 leaf give me any additional height? Please let me know if you would recommend anything different for my set up? Thank you

Expert Reply:
When picking out leaf springs for a trailer priority one is the proper capacity. If you have 6k axles on your Heartland Cyclone then the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e94SR would fit and work well as a replacement.
The hanger kit part # K71-360-00 would then work well with this spring as well. If your older springs were worn out and sagging because of that these would eliminate the sag. Since these springs are a little bit thicker the trailer would sit up a bit taller if the springs mount above your axles.

I have a 2009 cyclone toy hauler 3912. I broke a leaf spring. I measured one that is not broken and with the tire off. It measured 26 inch, eye to eye. I just want to make sure that is correct as they all seem to be flatten a little. I think that Part Number: e94SR is what I need. I am looking at Part Number: K71-360-00 as you recommended to the "Could Leaf Spring e94SR Fit a Heartland Cyclone " thread. I just want to confirm these are correct. The Dexter kit seems to outside end supports which are not on my trailer? The triangles are though. Thanks for your help. Steve
