Im planning to purchase 1999 Coleman Santa Fe Tent Trailer .the weight is 1650 , plus Im going to have couple hundreds of pounds in the trunk of the car for camping. I did read the QandA and I did watch your video but I need to make sure before I purchase the trailer and the hitch from . Thank you

I have to tell you first that Toyota states not to install a trailer hitch on the 2014 Toyota Prius V. It is stated in the owner's manual. If you choose to install a hitch and tow with the vehicle then trailer hitch # 24847 fits your Prius. The correct ball mount to use is # 3593. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # 118610. I have included links to videos showing example installations of the hitch and wiring for you.

While we have a Class III hitch that fits your 2013 Toyota Prius V with the EcoHitch part #306-X7192 the Curt #C13900 does not fit your vehicle.
