What Size Hole is Require to Install the Optronics Identification Light Kit # MCL22RK3B

Question:
Since the bulb is 3/4inch diameter, and the grommet is 11/16, would a 1inch hole be required for installation? Or would you need a 11/16inch hole?

When you install the Identification Light Kit # MCL22RK3B you want to use a 3/4 inch hole as you want the grommet to fit tight. Where the grommet fits around the hole is very thin so that is why you go with a hole the same size as the light.
