The Curt Trailer Hitch # 13055 fits on 2000-2014 Ford Vans.
If you are looking for a Curt Trailer Hitch to fit on your 1996 Ford F-150 I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Class VI Receiver # 14001. I recommend this Curt Hitch because we have test fitted this hitch on a 1996 Ford F-150 so I attached photos so you can see what the hitch will look like after it has been installed.
This hitch has a GTW of 10,000 lbs. and a TW capacity of 1,000 lbs. With a Weight Distribution System, this hitch has a GTW of 12,000 lbs. and a TW capacity of 1,200 lbs.
If you are planning on towing, you may be interested in the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416 which comes with two hitch balls, a pin and clip and a ball mount. For trailer wiring, you may be interested in the Tow Ready Wiring Harness # 118316.
I attached the wiring harness installation for a 1994 Ford F-150 which is the same process for your 1996 Ford F-150 you may want to check out. I also attached a installation video of the Curt Hitch being installed on a 1996 Ford F-150 you may find helpful.
