Question:

I installed these springs Timbren TTORSEQ on an 2005 Toyota Sequoia and they cant be centered on the axle. Theyre close, but it probably needs an additional 1/2inch of slide in order to be completely on center. Also, the springs seem to sit too high above the axle. Theres probably close to 2inch of space between the springs and the axle. When I recently pulled my travel trailer first time with these springs I didnt notice any appreciable difference in sag, though I did notice some improvement in the ride. I got under the truck to observe the springs and they appeared to be pretty well compressed, though slightly off-center. I wonder if the sag would be improved if the springs engaged sooner by being closer to the axle? My question: is it possible to add a filler piece between the frame and the spring bracket, in order to not only get the spring closer to the axle but also centered? If thats not an option are there any other options I can pursue? I think these springs are the right answer I just have a few installation bugs to work out.

Timbren likes to recommend 1 inch between the axle and the Timbren when the truck is unloaded. We have found that this works the best. What you would need then is a 1 inch spacer part # A25723-90AH00 and a new longer bolt that you would have to source elsewhere and your Timbren would be properly setup on your vehicle.

The spring being just slightly off-center like yours would not be a problem either.
