SuperSprings Vehicle Suspension - Rear Axle Suspension Enhancement - SS45FR Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Sumo Springs solo custom helper springs for the rear axle. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2019 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this'll work for your application. Now these helper springs will upgrade your vehicle's rear suspension for improved driver control and comfort, helps keep your vehicle level when you're towing or hauling a heavy load, and it helps to absorb bumps and shocks, helps minimize sway. They are progressive load control spring, which compresses according to the weight of your cargo. It's a lighter load, the Springs compress easily at first for a nice soft engagement, less bumpy ride, and if it's a heavier load, the springs will compress by as much as 80% for support. These springs do work independently from each other to compensate for off-center loads, reduce body roll during sharp turns, and they are made of a durable microcellular urethane. They're designed to work in temperatures from a negative 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and they will resist damage that can be caused by oils, road salts, and UV rays. They do give you minimal lateral expansion, meaning the springs will compress vertically instead of to the side so that they aren't easily damaged when operating in tight spaces, and they are maintenance free, there's no tubing to run or air pressure to monitor like with air springs. They are a simple, no drill installation.

They do come with everything shown here on the table. Two of the John style springs, two with the spacers, two of the washers, the hardware, and a tube of thread lockers when you install them. This part is made in the USA.The specs on this, the weight capacity at 50% compression is 1500 pounds. You do want to make sure that you know that these Sumo Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. Does come with a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how these install. But that should do it for the review on the Sumo Springs solo custom helper springs for the rear axle..
