What Trailer Wiring Circuit Does the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27740 Run To

Question:
My trailer lights has white,green and brown, Which of these wires do I connect to the black wire from the pole light??? When I first installed the lights I had no problem. When the trailer is connected to the truck the trailer lights come on. When I connect the pole lights to the battery they work?????

The brown wire of your trailer wiring would be the one that carries the running light circuit. That would be the correct circuit to use for powering the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27740.
